The 2260 Storm 6″ Safety Boot is specifically designed for extreme cold and challenging outdoor work conditions. The full-grain leather upper features TPU reinforcements at the toe and heel for added durability and resistance to abrasion. A full waterproof membrane ensures permanent moisture protection that will not degrade over time, while a cold isolation layer integrated into the insole enhances thermal performance in freezing environments.
This model incorporates 200g Thinsulate™ insulation and a wool/polyester lining to retain warmth without sacrificing breathability, making it suitable for cold-weather operations. The composite safety toe complies with ASTM F2413-18 standards for impact and compression resistance, and the textile puncture-resistant plate shields against underfoot penetration hazards. Electrical hazard (EH) protection further guards against electrical risks.
A full-length nylon shank provides torsional support and structural integrity, while the nitrile rubber outsole offers excellent slip resistance and is engineered to withstand cold, heat, and chemical exposure.
